Very convenient way to figure out where the sun is

I love the Google street view feature but overall this is just a best in class app!

I use it all the time. Two things could improve it greatly. A sun calibrator like Helios has and a screen capture that would go into the photo library.

Dont know what others are saying that this app doesnt open on IOS 8.2. It does, it would be so much better on the larger screens smart phones, I like the better perspective achieved in understanding the sun and moon relationship to the area that your working in. Plus like the sending of the data via email. Smart touch.

I know this isnt supposed to be a precision app, and their honest about that, but as a photographer it falls short for being really useful. Id love to be able to stand in a spot by a window and predict when the sun will shine through at the needed angle, but the lack of precision of this app has made that difficult. I have yet to see the AR position of the sun line up with the real sun, even live. I wish when this happened I could grab the virtual sun and drag it over the real sun to recalibrate it for that session and get a more accurate prediction for another day.

Using AR view the sun is significantly off by half an inch on my iPhone 6 screen. Wish there was a way to "tell" app where sun really is in order to predict future location. Seen it done on another app where you tap where sun really is to reposition location. Make that upgrade and is give it 5 stars.

Very cool. I wont use it all that often, but Im glad I have it and it was well worth the money for the functionality it provides.

As a professional photographer I always need to know where the sun will be for both outdoor and indoor locations. With this app I know exactly when I need to be on location to set up and be ready for the "right light" - its saved my bacon more than once in previous versions and I imagine the new and improved version will do more of the same!

Rarely do you see a great program upgraded and it stays great. This update is beyond great, its amazing! All the new integrated tools are perfect, everything works and makes my job easier! I think Im in love.

All the new features on this app are amazing! All the daily information about the sun/moon, including azimuths and twilight times, make it perfect for photography/aviation etc! I love looking at the movement of the sun and moon throughout the seasons and this app definitely gives me the information I want! Many thanks for a fun, useful and smooth experience! Version 2.0 made an already fantastic app even better. A must-have app for any serious photographer.

This app is the best. Use it for shoots all the time. You want to know where the sun is going to be at any given time? You whip this out. Invaluable when youre scouting.

I have been using this app for several years and now the latest comprehensive update has brought it from being a good app to being a truly fantastic app. Due to the layout and information contained therein, I have deleted three apps from my iPhone and iPad that I previously used to fill in the gaps, and are no longer necessary. Congratulations, good job.

Great AP for evaluating sun exposure when planning a garden or designing the layout of a farm.

I bought the full version after a short demo of the free version. The added features do not disappoint. In fact, they are more in-depth than expected. Initially purchased as more of a learning tool to visualize the suns position throughout the day and year, Ive come to find this to be an essential tool for my casual photography. Not only will it help position and orient you for the time and place where you currently are, but the overlay of the sun (and moon) info on Google street view is genius. A few interface quirks, which the very friendly & responsive developer assured me were being improved upon. The rest of the app far outweighs any minor drawbacks or interface design clunkiness. If the free app engaged you or this app seems like it might be up your alley, trust me, it will surpass your expectations. Well worth the price for the functionality it offers. *The 2.0 app update really improves and enhances this already-great app.
